The Tooele Education Foundation would like to wish the members of our community a very Merry Christmas…and say thank you to so many who do so much for Tooele County School District students!
We have worked hard these past few weeks to say “thank you” to all TCSD employees who give their hearts, hands, and time to students. With the help of some amazing “elves” and a generous donation from Stampin’ Up, TEF packaged and delivered almost 1,700 gifts to TCSD employees.
Some of the members of our “elf team” include:
- GHS student, Scott Williams, who volunteered to lead the packaging process as part of his Eagle Scout project. Scott assembled a team of volunteers from family and GHS National Honor Society who organized, taped, and tied ribbons for hours.
- TEF Intern extraordinaire, Tysen Toone, who spent hours organizing and carrying boxes.
- TEF Program Director, Kendall Thomas who distributed boxes and boxes of gifts throughout Tooele County, even making the long drive to Ibapah and Wendover.
We recognize that there are so many amazing community members who donate so much time to students as well. Although it is impossible for us to deliver a gift to each of you, please know that your efforts are recognized and appreciated!
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays from TEF!
